Leaders, at most, in each in-person workshop

Most managers are promoted for being great at the job. Few are ever trained to lead the people doing it.

Without the right tools, it shows up everywhere: good people leave, every day turns into firefighting, and sales swing from one month to the next. Impact Leadership gives managers a plan, the skills to run it and the accountability to keep it going.

The curriculum

Three lessons. Eighteen tools your managers will use on Monday.

Each lesson pairs a framework with role-play, so managers practice the hard conversations before they have them on the floor.

Lesson 01 · Your Skills

Lead yourself first.

The shift from doing the job to leading the people who do it, starting with your first 30 days.

1.1

Promoted from within

Going from teammate to manager without losing the team's trust.

1.2

Hired from outside

Earning credibility with a team that didn't choose you.

1.3

The first 30 days

What to learn, who to meet and what to leave alone in your first month.

1.4

Basic tools of leadership

Clear expectations, useful feedback and consistent follow-through.

1.5

Personal accountability

Owning your results before you ask your team to own theirs.

1.6

One-on-one coaching process

A repeatable rhythm for coaching each person on your team.

Lesson 02 · Your Team

Build a team that performs.

How strong teams communicate, train and set goals together, and how you build one.

2.1

The 4 Pillars of Success

The foundation every high-performing store is built on.

2.2

5 C's of high-performing teams

The five traits strong teams share, and how to build each one.

2.3

Communication styles

Reading how each person hears feedback, and adjusting how you give it.

2.4

Initial training

Onboarding new hires so they're productive faster, and stay longer.

2.5

Ongoing development

Keeping your best people growing so they don't grow out the door.

2.6

Setting goals

Goals your team understands, believes in and can track.

Lesson 03 · Your Process

Make it stick.

The planning, reporting and measurement that turn good intentions into steady results.

3.1

Training strategies

Training that changes behavior, not just sessions that happen.

3.2

Day-to-day planning

Running the day on priorities instead of emergencies.

3.3

Reporting to supervisors

Managing up: what your GM or dealer principal needs to hear, and when.

3.4

Obstacles to ongoing success

Spotting what derails progress before it costs you a month.

3.5

Installing change

Rolling out a new process so people adopt it instead of waiting it out.

3.6

Measuring results

Tracking the numbers that show your leadership is working.

How it's taught

Practice it before you lead it.

Impact Leadership is hands-on from the first hour. Managers learn a tool, rehearse it and leave with a plan for their own team.

Built for anyone with direct reports

First-time leaders Experienced leaders Future leaders

Sales, service, parts, BDC and F&I managers, general managers and dealer principals. The tools work for any team.

Hands-on

Who is Impact Leadership training for?

Anyone who manages people, at any stage: first-time leaders promoted from within or hired from outside, experienced managers who want a stronger team, and future leaders you're preparing for the role. It's built for dealership sales, service and BDC managers, and the tools work for any team.

What training formats are available?

Three: an online video series with a progress workbook, remote sessions (one-on-one, as a team, or a mix), and a one-day in-person workshop with remote follow-up training. You can combine them.

How long does the training take?

The in-person workshop is a one-day intensive, followed by remote follow-up sessions. The online series is self-paced, and remote sessions are scheduled around your store. We'll build a schedule that fits your team.

How many people can attend a workshop?

Up to 20 participants per in-person workshop. Training a larger group? Ask us about running more than one session, or pairing a workshop with online training.

Can the training be customized for our dealership?

Yes. Workshop content is tailored to the daily challenges and dynamics of your team, so managers practice on situations they actually face.

What's included?

Every participant gets the 60-page Impact Leadership workbook, hands-on role-play practice and the tools from all three lessons: Your Skills, Your Team and Your Process.

How much does leadership training cost?

It depends on the format and how many leaders you're training. Tell us about your team and we'll send options.

Who leads the training?

Glenn Pasch: CEO of PCG Digital, host of the You're In Charge podcast and author of The Road to Sold, who has spent decades coaching executives, sales teams and front-line managers.
